Brooke’s Senior Session | Ipswich River Park & Lynch Park, Beverly

If you could bottle a perfect North Shore senior session, it would look a lot like Brooke’s.

We kicked things off at Ipswich River Park, and the second Brooke stepped in front of the camera, I knew we were in for something special. The sun was out in full force, and she moved through poses like she’d been doing this for years — completely natural, completely herself. That kind of ease doesn’t happen with every session, and it makes all the difference in the final gallery.

From there, we made our way to Lynch Park in Beverly, timing it just right for the sun to start dipping low. There’s a gorgeous fence along the property that catches the golden hour light in the most beautiful way, and we couldn’t resist stopping for a few frames right there before heading further into the park.

Next up: the Rose Garden. I’ll be honest — it was busier than usual, with more photographers out shooting than I’ve seen there before. But we made it work, weaving in shots among the roses and using the garden’s iconic pillars as a backdrop for a different look. Even with the extra company, Brooke’s session in that space turned out beautifully.

We closed things out at the sandy beach, and this is the part where I have to brag a little — the sky that evening was almost unreal. The kind of colors that make you double check your camera settings because it genuinely looked edited straight out of the gate. It was the perfect note to end on.

Sessions like Brooke’s are exactly why I love what I do. One senior, four completely different backdrops, and a gallery that tells the story of a golden North Shore evening from start to finish.
