Abby’s Senior Session: Wingaersheek Beach, Gloucester

Some senior sessions just have it all — perfect light, perfect locations, and a client who brings the energy to match. Abby’s session across Ipswich River Park in North Reading, where we found not 1 but 2 beautiful flower fields.

We started at Ipswich River Park in North Reading, in a gorgeous open field where Abby’s yellow dress glowed against the tall grass in bright full sun and white flowers and her dress looked gorgeous with it!

From there, we headed to this gorgeous purple wildflower field, where her mom had to run in and stomp down the grass and wave away the bees! It was so hot and we did have to be mindful of the bees BUT the images were so worth it!

From there we went to this secret grassy area in Lynnfield that complemented Abby’s pink dress beautifully, and brought her dog along for a few frames too — some of the sweetest, most genuine smiles of the whole session.

Next up is the cute white fence I found in Lynnfield. The lighting is always perfect and if a girl brings some kind of jeans I love to do some here! They turn out super cute.

We closed out the day at Wingaersheek Beach in Gloucester, one of our favorite senior portrait locations on the North Shore, for golden hour. The sunset sky was nothing short of magical — pink, orange, and gold stretched across the horizon for a dreamy, gorgeous ending!

From the wildflower fields of Lynnfield to the sand at Wingaersheek Beach in Gloucester, Abby’s multi-location senior session is a perfect example of why the North Shore — from North Reading to Gloucester — is one of the best regions in Massachusetts for senior portraits.

Planning your own senior session on the North Shore? Whether it’s Ipswich River Park, a Lynnfield wildflower field, or golden hour at Wingaersheek Beach, we’d love to help you create a gallery as unique as Abby’s. 💛
